Workshop Overview:

Day one of the workshop opens with an in depth look at the needs of employees including the hopes, desires and expectations of GEN Y and other top talents and compare this with the organisational culture, employee frameworks, development systems and whether (or not) the organisation is geared to attract and retain the best possible local talent. The workshop will explore 'employer branding' and how this impacts your ability to attract and retain talent. Day 1 closes with an overview of talent retention, focussing on employee engagement initiatives and organisational alignment as well exploring the key elements necessary to implement a successful retention strategy.

 

Day two opens with how we manage talent on a daily basis and the impact that can have on future retention. The workshop then explores how helping employees to grow and develop keeps an organisation in the cutting edge of competitive environments. They enable employees to produce better results, faster services and more competitive organisations. This part of the course looks at how to create successful talent retention solutions that are organic within the culture of the business and focus on improving competencies, skills, productivity and performance by needs targeted talent development initiatives and advanced organisational learning capability to bring out the underlying potential inherent in your people.

 

The final part of this workshop looks at succession planning - A key element of any talent retention initiative is facilitating career growth. Workshop Overview: The workshop will promote awareness and understanding of the requirements which will lead to successful and safe Heavy Lifting. Contents will cover the aspects that you would expect to be required by your clients, including the importance of early planning and ensuring that the correct competent persons are available and engaged in the required analysis of lifting operations.

 

Day 1 will take in general understanding of requirements, roles, responsibilities and risk analysis in respect of Heavy Lifting. Day 2 will see examples of Lift Planning, avoidance of incidents and delegate participation in Computer Exercises.
