SOUL is currently trading at: 0.32
Chances are that many of you reading this like to play video games or computer games. It's been reported that 72% of U.S. households are playing games whether on their mobile, console, or computer.
SOUL is involved with this monstrous industry. The Company is focused on developing and publishing games that standout and has a business model that focuses on multi-platform support. This means for consoles, mobile devices, and personal computers.
The digital game industry is a 56bil market that is projected to grow to 82bil by 2015!
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) reported that consumer spending on console, mobile, and personal computer game software, topped 56bil in 2010.
That figure was more than two times the size of the music industry, almost 1/4 more than what is earned by the global magazine business, and nearly 3/5 the size of the entire film industry (including Blu-Ray and DVD sales and box-office receipts).
SOUL made a big move recently. Last month the Company announced that they completed the acquisition of Soul and Vibe Entertainment, Inc.
Why is this move significant?
Soul and Vibe Entertainment Inc. is linked to some pretty big names and can be extremely beneficial to SOUL's future.
Soul and Vibe Entertainment, Inc. has strategic and valuable contractual agreements that are viable assets. The Company has several strategic and valuable contractual agreements which include a license agreement with General Mills and game development and publishing agreements for:
- The PlayStation® 3 computer entertainment system and PlayStation® Vita (PS Vita) from Sony Computer Entertainment America
- Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system, Windows 8, Windows Live, and Windows Phone from Microsoft.
In addition, Soul and Vibe Interactive will also develop and publish games for mobile platforms such as Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch) and Android!
"We are very excited to have transitioned into a publicly traded company. This is an important milestone for us. Our publishing licenses for Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 are key assets that we intend to leverage for the development and publishing of numerous games across multiple genres and platforms. Our product lineup includes a mix of licensed-brand and original IP-based games that are as fun to talk about, as they are to play," stated newly apppointed SOUL CEO and President, Peter Anthony Chiodo.
Mr. Chiodo is an award-winning 22-year veteran of the video and computer game industry who has released over 200 games!
He produced/co-designed the critically acclaimed Stoked: Big Air snowboarding series (Xbox 360) and the million-unit selling title, Summer Sports: Paradise Island (Wii).
He also served as a Program Manager at Microsoft Corporation from 2000 through 2003, where he led internal teams from engine and game prototype to project green light and release for the original Xbox, and helped coordinate the localization of Xbox launch software for European and Japanese markets.
With Chiodo leading things for SOUL, it could be a huge advantage!
THE CONSIDERABLE MARKET:

That would come out to about a 45pct growth in 5 years!
The video and computer games industry is very mature when it comes to distributing and marketing interactive content at retail (30+ years).
However, it is in its infancy when it comes to digitally distributing and marketing the same content. SOUL was founded with a business model that fully embraces digital distribution.
Digital distribution significantly reduces the Cost of Goods Sold ("COGS"), bypasses physical media distribution channel challenges, and directs sales, marketing, and promotional efforts directly to the consumer.
Video gaming is one of America's favorite pastimes. There are more video game stores in the United States than there are books stores.
According to a study conducted by Peter D. Hart Research Associates, more than 35pct of parents play computer and video games and an amazing 93% of these parents have children who also play them!
In 2010, sales of game downloads, game "Apps," and various games played over social networks, earned approximately 15.6bill in revenue!
According to data from the NPD Group, which was released by the Entertainment Software Association, the computer and video game industry sold 273m units in 2009 which equated to a 10.5bill revenue!

Just last month a company within the same industry, Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) reported earnings and had revenue of $2.60b for the quarter. It even beat the consensus estimate of $2.44b! ATVI is trading near its 52-week high right now.
Macquarie upgraded shares of Electronic Arts Inc. (Nasdaq: EA) to an "outperform" rating last month and analysts at Sterne Agee upgraded shares of EA from a neutral rating to a "buy" rating. The research firm also placed a 22.00 price target on the stock on February 6th.

Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) closed at 14.35 on Friday
Electronic Arts Inc. (Nasdaq: EA) closed at 18.04 on Friday
Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: TTWO) closed at 14.72 on Friday
Konami Corporation (NYSE: KNM) closed at 19.51 on Friday
We're definitely not insinuating that SOUL is exactly like these companies nor are we suggesting that it will trade as high one day.
All we know is that SOUL is trading at 30 cents right now and in our opinion has a tremendous amount of upward potential!!
